I am the teacher of autistic children at the Dominion school for Autism, which I am very excited about. My life now basically revolves around Plaid Racing, Inc.,  Autism Awareness, NASCAR and my dogs. When I am not in the dog show ring, I am President and CEO of the Plaid Racing Inc..  I also now have gained the title of PR Director for the driver of the #99 for Winstead Motorsports.  I have to laugh because, in an attempt to keep unity on the SFC message board while a moderator there, during a less than encouraging season, I began making fun of Elliott.  I must thank him for being a good sport because now that "fun thread" has turned into a wonderful group of people who enjoy supporting others. The Plaid Racing has done more for the surrounding communities and Autism Awareness than we could ever have hoped for.  While this blurb is supposed to be about me, it honestly can’t be, because a driver is no better than the team that supports them. That being said, I am proud to be a part of this group and all we stand for. I hope that we have and will always make Elliott and the Sadler’s proud of us.

I have been involved in racing in one way or another all my life; whether it was going with my dad during his crew days, helping my buddy build and race his own late model stock car, and finally building and racing my ow modified. (Racing is all I really ever wanted to do in my life!!) My dad is now retired and I work two jobs to be able to race, and that is even a couple small supportive sponsors.   I will be carrying the Plaid Racing logo on my car this season.

I have been a NASCAR fan for only 3 years. How can such a simple sport as going in circles, have such an impact on ones life is such a short span of time? I originally chose Elliott as my driver because I could easily find his bright yellow car on the track. But I stayed with him after I learned about his huge heart. I am proud to be a member of this team and I hope that Elliott, Bell and all of the Sadler’s will always be as proud of us as we are of them.

I got into racing running around my Momma’s kitchen floor with her M&M diecast in my mouth. When I am not slobbering on everything, I can be found in the show ring making my Momma proud cause I go in circles to the left too. However in my sport, bump drafting is not allowed. It is my job on Sunday to help Momma run the chat room and to keep her from having a nervous breakdown. (But she keeps telling me that I am causing her a nervous breakdown.) I am proud to be a member of the Plaid19 too. I got a cool red & black plaid blanket out of the deal

I've been around racing all my life as my great-uncle was a NASCAR driver from 1960 to 1986. I began following Elliott Sadler in 1997 when he won a Busch Series race I attended in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Already a team member of the Plaid Racing, I was asked to design a site that combined the activities of the Plaid Racing team with race season and off-season information relating to Elliott Sadler and the #19 Dodge Dealers/UAW Dodge Charger. It was a challenging undertaking but so much fun!

I'm a Socio-Economic Information Researcher and Geographic Information Systems Analyst as well as a Web Developer by trade. I love all sports but chiefly, I'm a NASCAR fan!

I am 33 years old. I was born in Detroit, MI and grew up in Port Huron, MI. I went to Michigan State University. I work for the largest multiple listing service (MLS) in the state of Michigan. I work in the customer care department.

I come from a large family, my mom is the oldest of 8 children and I'm the oldest of 22 grandchildren. We're a very close family and we love doing all kinds of things together. We try to get together at least once a month throughout the year for some type of family function. I am a very proud aunt. I love spending time with my 4 nieces and 1 nephew. Megan is 14, Hailly is 14, Mackenzie is 7,  Alex is 4 and Hannah is 2. I am also a very proud pet owner. I have 2 dogs. Katie Scarlett is a golden retriever. My mom named her after Scarlett O'Hara from Gone With The Wind. Stevie is a terrier mix that I named after my hockey idol Stevie Yzerman.

I am a sports nut. I love watching Detroit Red Wings hockey, Detroit Tigers baseball, NASCAR, Michigan State football, Michigan State hockey and Michigan State basketball. I've been a NASCAR fan for about 3 years now. I got into NASCAR during the NHL lockout of 2004. I needed something fast paced and action packed to watch during the lockout. My family has been into NASCAR for quite some time and they got me hooked. I went to my first race in June 2005 at Michigan International Speedway.
I became a fan of Elliott Sadler because my aunt was into him because he drove the M&M's car and to her M&M's are one of the 4 basic food groups. Once I started to pay attention to him I liked his driving style and his personality. I like the way he is so positive when he does interviews. I love his sense of humor,  he makes me laugh alot. I really like the way he relates to his fans and I admire him for his generosity and charity work.

Some of my hobbies include bike riding, boating, swimming, camping, ice skating, photography and scrapbooking. I love to travel. I love to see new places and experience new things. So I really enjoy mixing my love of hockey and NASCAR with travel. Going to different cities to catch a game or a race is a blast.
I've decided to get involved because I spent alot of time in the hospital as a child and it made my day whenever we received gifts or visitors. I wanted to give back now that I'm an adult for all the people that took even a few minutes out of their day to make me smile. The smallest gesture can make someone's day.

I am 42 yrs old and work in the Medical Field.  I became a NASCAR Fan about 3 yrs ago. I chose Elliott (Hermie too) as my driver because of their charity, Autism. Also because of his enthusiasm for racing I chose to be a part of the Plaid 19 because at a SFC event, I was overwhelmed by their friendship and am Proud to be a part of the family. I am 24-years old and a graduate of the University of South Alabama where I hold a bachelor’s degree in Communication. After working in the Public Relations Office for four years @ USA, I am now the Communications Specialist for the Mobile County District Attorney’s Office. I am also President of the Junior Board of Directors for the YWCA of Greater Mobile. The mission of the YW is to eliminate racism and empower women.  I love Elliott Sadler, because he is just a sweet down to earth guy and doesn’t let his celebrity affect his relationship with his fans. I also pledge my allegiance to the WWE and the Los Angeles Lakers. I love reading, singing, shopping, and traveling. I plan to pursue a master’s degree in liberal arts, communication, or sports management. I want to work in PR for NASCAR, the WWE, or the NBA.

My name is Angie and I currently live in northeast TN but will be moving to southwest VA in June. I love nascar and especially Elliott and Hermie. They are such good people and I wish both of them the best. They were so nice to my son when he had the chance to meet them a couple of years ago.

My son is now 12 and has autism. He has made amazing progress over the years but still has such a long way to go. I try not to think too much about the future because it just makes me sick with worry. I pray each and everyday that he will be able to function as an adult and live on his own.

I'm so glad to be a part of this group. It seemed that when Matt was younger I couldn't get enough help and support and now that I've adjusted, I want to help others.
